Scholarships
The 200 Club of Monmouth County is committed to its annual student scholarship fund. Each year, The 200 Club awards college scholarships to deserving college students of first responders in Monmouth County. In 2022, The 200 Club of Monmouth County gave 56 students college scholarships totaling more than $99,000. To date, The 200 Club of Monmouth County has given out $3 million in college scholarships.
Scholarship awards are only given to qualified students. Eligibility requirements include, but are not limited to, the following criteria:
Applicant must be the dependent child of a first responder who resides and works full time in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Applicant must be a full time undergraduate student at an accredited institution of higher learning.
At least one parent of applicant must be an active member of The 200 Club of Monmouth County.
The Annual Scholarship Application is open to undergrad dependents. Only college juniors and seniors qualify for the Ben Danskin scholarship. The Ben Danskin scholarship will be awarded to one applicant who the committee feels meets the criteria and sufficiently proves they deserve the grant. All applicants applying for the Ben Danskin scholarship should ALSO apply for the annual scholarship.
